Receipts, Not Reports
A reproducibility ceremony, on the public record
For the past several weeks, BAION’s measurement instrument, Bounce, has been running through pre-registered hypothesis batteries. Battery 3C, a five-hypothesis study on whether multi-LLM convergence can be measured rigorously using Kuramoto order parameters, came back with three of five hypotheses passing, one inconclusive, and one failing. The inconclusive and failing results were themselves informative about what the instrument actually measures.
Pre-registration on its own isn’t enough, though. A pre-registered study you can’t reproduce is still a claim. So yesterday we ran the T2 ceremony: an isolated-git-tree re-execution of the Battery 2 instrument-verification packets, with binaries locked to manifest v1.1.0 and source pinned to commit 0f09127. All 24 packets executed and produced receipts whose per-packet hashes matched the pre-registered values.
The receipt bundle is on OSF. SHA-256 of the receipt manifest:

This is the BAION discipline applied to BAION itself. We measure things. We pre-register the measurement. We re-run it under controlled conditions. We hash the result. We publish the hash. If you don’t trust our claims, you can re-run our ceremony.
Bounce is one of three layers we’re building. It’s a measurement instrument for multi-LLM agreement, designed to run on hardware you own. It uses Kuramoto oscillator mathematics to quantify how aligned a group of language models actually is on a given question: no cloud round-trip, no trust in any single model’s verdict, no taking BAION’s word for it.
Battery 3C established that the math works. The T2 ceremony established that the instrument is reproducible. The next pieces all build on this floor: Bounce as a service, ArTi as a substrate, SCF as a foundation.
We don’t predict. We propagate. And we leave receipts.
